The Gabbeh is one of the great folk textiles of the world. A Gabbeh doesn't follow a rulebook — the weaver places a deer where she wants a deer, a band of yellow where she wants the sun, a row of small diamonds because the rhythm calls for it.
This mat is an affectionate translation of that tradition. Printed on a textured rubber base, the stripes run wide across the surface in a sunrise palette — coral, mustard, sage, soft blue, and the rust of fired earth. Look closely and you'll find the small folk figures the Gabbeh is loved for: stylised deer, scattered birds, geometric dashes, little diamond gates.
It is a mat with a quiet sense of travel about it.
